This is a contract with the potential to become an FT remote position for a Capture/Proposal Manager. The Capture/Proposal Manager with expertise in IT, Space, Data, and AI/ML is a strategic role working with clients to develop opportunity pipelines, product-market fit strategy, and winning technical, management, and cost proposals for complex government business opportunities. Responsibilities include leading in pursuing new contracts, developing competitive strategies, conducting capture efforts, and leading proposal development efforts. This role requires technical knowledge, strategic planning, and business development acumen to effectively drive the capture process from opportunity identification through proposal submission and contract award.
Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities in IT, Space, Data, and AI/ML within the federal government and commercial sectors for our clients. Leverage subject matter expertise in describing how client products and services positively impact the federal government mission.

Capture Management: Develop and implement capture strategies tailored to each opportunity, considering the unique aspects of the IT, Space, Data, and AI/ML sectors. Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the government sector.

Proposal Leadership: Lead the development of compelling proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and integration of technical descriptions, executive summaries, cost, and management sections.

Proposal Compliance: Ensure all technical documentation is consistent with industry standards and compliant with federal bid requirements. Edit and proofread proposal content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy. Participate in proposal review meetings and provide input on content strategy and structure.

Proposal Documentation: Assist in maintaining a comprehensive library of technical documentation, templates, and standard responses

Technical Liaison: Act as the bridge between technical experts and business development teams, translating complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the capture and proposal processes.

Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends and technological advancements in IT, Space, Data, and AI/ML to inform strategic planning and positioning.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment encouraging innovation and excellence in proposal development.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in capture management and proposal development, with a proven track record in IT, Space, Data, AI/ML sectors.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, space technologies, data analytics, and AI/ML applications.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies that align with client goals and market opportunities.
